Located along the coast approximately 2.5 miles north of the City of Naples in the unincorporated area of Collier County is the Vanderbilt Beach Area. Now we have a lot of names for a lot of different areas … but remember: they are all Naples.

The Vanderbilt Beach area is bordered on the south by Vanderbilt Beach Road and Pelican Bay, on the north by Bluebill Avenue (which turns into Immokalee Road on the east side of U.S. 41), on the east by Vanderbilt Drive, and on the west by the Gulf of Mexico. The Vanderbilt area enjoys a variety of residence types including navigable waterfront single family homes, beachfront and bayfront condominiums as well as a beachfront resort known as La Playa which is owned by the Collier family. At the north end of the Vanderbilt Beach area there is the Del-Nor Wiggins State Park and the Del-Nor Wiggins Pass Waterway with miles of sugar sand beaches and access to the open aquamarine waters for the Gulf of Mexico provided via Wiggins Pass for boaters.
Like so many other areas in Naples along the prime coastal area there is a mixture of older homes and newly constructed homes. There are approximately 50 beachfront/bayfront condominium buildings ranging in age from 20 years old to brand new. The Vanderbilt Beach area is very much the gateway to the northern portion of Naples which offers older established neighborhoods, new master planned golf course communities to the east and northeast, and the fast growing south Lee County (Bonita Springs / Estero) area. The North Collier Hospital is within moments of Vanderbilt, every shopping amenity is close by, and I-75 is within 10 minutes driving time. Prices range from $1,000,000 to over $4,000,000 for single family navigable waterfront residences. |

The price range for beachfront apartments along the Gulf of Mexico and bayfront condominiums across the street from the beach range from $400,000 to over $4,000,000. There are waterfront condominiums available just to the north and slightly to the east of the Vanderbilt area beginning at the $250,000-$300,000 range. A rich mixture of old and new, Vanderbilt offers an array of lifestyle opportunities, that like the Naples community, is guaranteed to catch your eye and make you want to call Naples your home. |
